Assistant Airport Director – Planning & Engineering

Roy Remington brings 18 years of aviation experience to his role as the Assistant Airport Director – Planning & Engineering at Pensacola International Airport. As the airport’s chief development officer, Mr. Remington is responsible for planning and executing strategic initiatives, overseeing capital projects, and ensuring the airfield operates at its highest potential.

Mr. Remington previously served as the Executive Director of the Millington-Memphis Airport and, prior to that, as a Senior Planner for the national engineering firm Crawford, Murphy, & Tilly. His background in aviation also includes being a commercial multi-engine pilot.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics from Saint Louis University and is a certified professional through the American Association of Airport Executives. In recognition of his contributions to the aviation industry, he was honored as one of Airport Business Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2022.
