Masks no longer required at Pensacola International Airport

Following the April 18 ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle vacating the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s mask mandate on public transportation, Pensacola International Airport is no longer requiring passengers to wear masks in the airport.

“While we will not be requiring masks at PNS, we do know this situation may change based on any Federal action, and some destinations and perhaps even some air carriers may continue to require masks,” said Matt Coughlin, Airport Director. “To ensure you can continue to Fly Easy, we recommend that all passengers confirm with their airline and their destination for any mask requirements and prepare accordingly.”

Pensacola International Airport recommends that passengers monitor the situation closely and review any state, local, or national mask requirements for their connecting airports and final destinations. Passengers should also confirm mask regulations with their particular air carrier.
