Airport Administration & Contracts Manager

Michael Laven has been an integral part of the Pensacola International Airport team since 1996. As the Airport Administration and Contracts Manager, Mr. Laven plays a vital role in facilitating the day-to-day operations of the airport. In his position, he collaborates extensively with tenants and is responsible for overseeing the coordination of bids, proposals, and contracts.

Mr. Laven earned a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. In 2007, he obtained the Accredited Airport Executive certification from the American Association of Airport Executives.

Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, the Florida Government Finance Officers Association, and the Panhandle Chapter of FGFOA.
