Here at PNS, we want to make your Holiday travel as easy as possible, and we know that improving parking availability is a top priority for our passengers. That’s why we continue to adjust and innovate to find new solutions to address the increased demand for holiday travelers. Over the past two years, we have added a combined 900 parking spots in the lot next to the Hyatt Hotel (Economy Lot 3) and the overflow grass lot on Tippin Avenue.
Beginning this weekend, December 16, 2023, we will add an additional 187 parking spots for passengers by converting the employee parking lot to passenger parking. The new parking area is located just north of the PNS terminal and is accessed by driving past the passenger dropoff area and entering the lot to the right.
These additional parking spaces will help to accommodate the increased demand for parking during the holiday travel season, from December 16, 2023 through January 8, 2024. During this time, the Holiday Parking Lot will be priced at a flat rate of $40, but vehicles must be removed by January 8, 2024.
Airport Director Matt Coughlin expressed appreciation for the community’s patience and understanding during this busy time and rapid passenger growth. “We remain dedicated to providing a Fly Easy experience for all travelers and appreciate the community’s support as we navigate the challenges of growth and ultimate expansion of our facilities.”
