Carter Mansfield serves as the Assistant Airport Director for Operations at Pensacola International Airport, tasked with overseeing all airside operations to ensure alignment with FAA regulations and procedures. Additionally, Mr. Mansfield plays a pivotal role in managing all security matters, ensuring adherence to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines.
Joining the airport in 2015, he has held the positions of Airport Operations Dispatcher, Badging Officer, Airport Operations Officer, and Airport Operations Manager. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Mansfield had a distinguished 23-year career in law enforcement, spanning local, state, and Federal levels. His diverse expertise encompasses roles like Field Trainer and Air Surveillance Coordinator.
In 2003, he achieved his Private Pilot rating from the FAA. Mr. Mansfield is an alumnus of the University of Florida, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law with a minor in Sociology. Mr. Mansfield received his AAAE ACE Operations in August 2024.
